To Be a Rock and Not to Roll Shaman is made predominantly from salvaged and repurposed metal. The face contains a disc of patinaed copper underneath a thick coat of resin. Plasma cut by hand, the images are based on a petroglyph panel (photo #10) found in Canyon de Chelly National Monument in northeastern Arizona. The Navajo name for this magical place is Tséyiʼ, which means “rock canyon.”

Dimensions:

37 inches tall

6.75 inches wide
