This piece is part of the No More Stolen Sisters series. Inspired by the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women movement, the Take These Broken Wings and Learn to Fly Again Kachina is made predominately from salvaged metal.

The spiral is plasma cut by hand into the reclaimed metal. The wings come from an old steel drum. The resin head features a red hand, the symbol of the MMIW cause, set against the backdrop of stars in the night sky.
