The Promise of a Coming Day Shaman is made predominately from salvaged metal. Plasma cut by hand, the thunderbird image is based on a pictograph found in Jefferson County, Oregon. The head comes from an old circular saw blade that had given up the ghost. The solar light at the top of the staff is held in place by a magnet and can be removed if the sculpture is displayed indoors.
