Goin' Home Kachina Rustic Metal Sculpture

This piece is part of the No More Stolen Sisters series. Inspired by the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women movement, the Goin’ Home Kachina is made predominately from salvaged metal.

The Yei (holy one) image, plasma cut by hand into the reclaimed steel, is based on a Navajo petroglyph (photo #10). The resin head features a red hand, the symbol of the MMIW cause, set against the backdrop of stars in the night sky.

Dimensions:

33 inches tall

10.5 inches wide
