Inspired by a petroglyph panel found in Shay Canyon in Utah, Silhouettes on the Wind (No. 1) is made from salvaged galvanized sheet metal. It features plasma cut images of a lively band of flute players and a dancing sheep. Or is that an upright coyote balancing rocks on its head?!
This piece is perhaps best appreciated with some sort of lighting (from a window or with the use of candles or LED lighting). The shadows cast on your wall will take you on a trip back in time. Maybe the future.
