The Beautiful Foolish Arms Kachina is made almost entirely from salvaged metal. The arms (or wings) come from part of an old steel drum. The head holds a pool of resin, high-end mica powder, and ground turquoise from the American Southwest. The lightning symbol was plasma cut by cut into the rusted steel body. The title is borrowed from Joni Mitchell’s “Amelia.”
