Prayers for Rain Shaman Sculpture

$2,499.00
sold out

With the exception of the copper spiral, the Prayers for Rain Shaman Sculpture is made solely from salvaged metal. The thunderbird is based on a piece of ancient rock art found in Jefferson County, Oregon, while the prayer stick in the shaman’s right hand is inspired by a petroglyph in Pony Hills near Deming, New Mexico. The battered and rusted metal’s old orange paint mimics the look of timeless Southwest stone. See video below.

Dimensions:

100 inches tall

55 inches wide

NOTE: 10% of profits from this sale go to Native Hope (nativehope.org) and Native Women Running (nativewomenrunning.com).
