Owl Spirit (No. 4)

$549.00
sold out

The owl holds a prominent place in Native American mythology. This particular representation is based on a petroglyph found in Kane Creek near Moab, Utah (photo #8).

Owl Spirit No. 4 is made almost entirely from repurposed metal. The head is made of resin and mica powder, including ground turquoise from the American Southwest. The "silver" wings come from part of an old steel drum and the hair/feathers from old snap ties.

Dimensions…

33 inches tall

24.5 inches wide

Ready to hang on the wall, this marriage of rustic and fine art makes an unforgettable gift for you or someone else.

Ten percent of profits go to the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (csvanw.org).
