Hands of Time Shaman Sculpture

$1,499.00
sold out

The Hands of Time Shaman is inspired by Cueva de las Manos (“Cave of the Hands”) in Patagonia, Argentina (photo #8). It is made solely from salvaged and repurposed metal. The hand images have been plasma cut by hand. See video below.

Accounts from early Spanish explorers claim they encountered big-footed giants in the area. Whether true or not, the name stuck. Pata means leg or (animal) foot in Spanish. What is true is that there is a cave there with almost no end of hands. Some of these pictographs are more than 9000 years old.

Dimensions:

79 inches tall

30.5 inches wide

18-inch diameter (base)

This marriage of rustic and fine art makes an unforgettable gift for you or someone else.

NOTE: 10% of profits from this sale go to Native Hope (nativehope.org) and Native Women Running (nativewomenrunning.com).
