Coming to the Canyon Kachina

$499.00
sold out

The Coming to the Canyon Kachina is made almost solely from salvaged metal. Plasma cut by hand, the elongated anthropomorphic image is based on a Canyon Barrier Style pictograph found in Buckhorn Draw in the San Rafael Swell in central Utah (photo #8). A circular saw blade forms the head. The light blue triangle comes from an old steel drum. Some generic gemstone earrings complete the look. Watch video below.

Dimensions:

44 inches tall

9 inches wide

Ready to hand indoors or out in the garden, this marriage of rustic and fine art makes a very special one-of-a-kind gift.

Ten percent of profits from this sale go to the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (csvanw.org).
