Against the Wind Kachina

$499.00

The Against the Wind Kachina is made solely from salvaged metal. The head is a repurposed sprocket, while part of a rusty bicycle chain serves as the hair. The blue triangle comes from an old steel drum. Construction snap ties form the arms. Inspired by a petroglyph found in the Butler Wash area of the San Juan River in southeastern Utah, the anthropomorphic image has been plasma cut by hand into the rusted steel.

Dimensions:

32.5 inches tall

16 inches wide

Ready to hang indoors or under the great wide open, this marriage of rustic and fine art makes an unforgettable gift for you or someone else.

NOTE: 10% of profits from this sale go to Native Women Running (nativewomenrunning.com).
